I usually have a hard time to take portrait photographs of people when I'm in Hanoi; a number of them will simply refuse. So imagine my surprise when this happy grandfather asked me to take a picture of him and his granddaughter! I hope you like it as much as I do.

This is a fabulous portrait. You can sense the grandfather's pride. I really enjoy your photos. You seem to clearly capture the essence of the moment.
when i went to ho guom (around the traffic lights in trang tien plaza) in early morning, there was this man asking me to take photo of him.. :)
sometimes you just get some surprises like that... LOL~
but yeah, few...
If you plan to go back to Nam Dinh again, you should totally print this photo out and give it to them. That'd be priceless.
