Indeed I also prefer to take some time for a haircut so I wouldn't go there myself: I don't think the 'Party's haircut' would have a good touch on me ;)
actually if your Vietnamese is good enough, these street hairdressers can be excellent story-tellers, which you can never find in any hair salon.
Do you know that the scraps of hair on the floor can be made into soy sauce? Yes, it's done that way in some part of China!
