Here's a shop where you can buy ornaments to be displayed on the small 'houses' for the departed.. Always reminds me of Thailand, where such a tradition is also still very vivid.

I think I do something like this, subconsciously. I have pictures of ancestors around the house, on bookcases mostly, and around them I have objects that belonged to some of them. It all gives me a sense of being part of the larger stream of life.
